THORNBURY - CLARKSBURG ROTARY YOUTHFEST

Location: Beaver Valley Community Centre, Thornbury
Admission: $2. for Youthfest. Bolling Quartet Concert $10. at the door
Details An invitational jazz event with ten regional youth jazz bands, stage bands and jazz ensembles have a chance to perform in front of respected adjudicators.Ten bands have agreed to play from 9 Am to 5 PM.
A special treat will be held with The Chantry Island Quartet lead by Mike Grace on bass, John McLellan on piano, Stephen James on drums with flautist Meryl Gillmore performing Claude Bolling’s "Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio" with Ted Quinlan from Humber College’s music programme on guitar sitting in.
This event is open to the public, friends and family of student performers
